KABC-TV is the ABC-owned and operated television station in Los Angeles, California. The station is located on the west side of the city on West Alameda Boulevard.

KABC-TV first signed on the air on September 16, 1948, as KECA-TV. The station was originally an affiliate of the ABC Radio Network. In 1953, the station was renamed KABC-TV to reflect its new affiliation with ABC.

KABC-TV has been a leading news station in Los Angeles for many years. The station has won numerous awards for its news coverage, including the Peabody Award and the DuPont-Columbia Award.
